Still some color

With all the rain and wind in the past week the color has faded a lot. But there are still some places where the late color is just hitting its peak, like this hill across the valley from us.  Since I haven't been taking many new photos, a few from last week here, too.

We can see thru the woods again. We've had some lovely days, too, but I haven't gotten out much to get photos..

From Ellijay

A bit south of here, the Ellijay Ga area is home to lots of great apple orchards. Susan, at Patchwork Reflections, has photos of the recent apple festival, and more mountain fall scenery.

Air Show

At the head of a beautiful valley, Andrews-Murphy Airport, where the Celebration of Flight airshow was held Saturday. 

Folks watch from a sunny cornfield or the paved taxiway. 

The show is on. 

A beautiful clear day, except over the runway.
