Just to be fair to all the others, the two ramp festivals I mentioned last week aren't the only ones: here's one in Flag Pond, TN this coming weekend; this site has a list of all the local ramp festivals, starting in March in Cherokee. Lots are in West Virginia.
The oldest one around here may be the one held this past weekend in Waynesville, NC, the 74th annual, according to this story in the Asheville Citizen-Times.
